Big Dean Kamen fans in this house! Why? He's the founder of FRC, FIRST robotics competition. My son had the pleasure of meeting him at world's comp in April. It was probably one of the best days of my son's life! It was such a huge deal and frc made a huge impact on my son's high school experience and the skills he left high school with. Of course I took a photo of them to remember the event.
I'm not sure I would have realized how really anyone can join. My daughter isn't a science kid but she's on her school's team and in the analytics/strategy sub team. She also had been on the business team but didn't like it quite as much. Despite being a word girl she wasn't into the grant writing and other necessary writing. Turns out she's spreadsheet Javascript girl lol. If you go to my Facebook page you'll see the photo of Benjamin with Dean (search Dean and it should come up)

Is there a reason some photos or images are not showing up? Like the denim on denim picture of the father.
I don't know! I'm trying to get Substack to investigate this. Is it not showing up on the web or just in your email?
